The MANTLE pouf is an exploration of tectonic weight and textile fluidty. Part of our Design Studio Collection, the piece features a substantial circular body carved from cream travertine, showcasing the stone’s natural, linear porous grain. The design is crowned with a recessed charcoal gray woven seat that is punctuated by a unique, fluted ceramic or stone element that appears to flow over the edge like a heavy fabric mantle. Supported by a recessed wooden or stone plinth, the MANTLE balances the permanent, geological mass of the travertine with a sense of soft, draped movement, offering a sophisticated and tactile seating option.
