The ABACUS BENCH is a striking exercise in elemental balance, juxtaposing the warmth of organic timber with the cool, ancient weight of stone. Part of the RAW Collection, the design features a substantial dark wood plank with softened, rounded edges, resting atop two massive cylindrical pillars of raw Travertine. The bench’s signature detail is the “through-column” effect, where the stone base appears to pierce through the wooden seat, creating a flush, circular stone inlay on the surface. This architectural joinery celebrates the raw materials, creating a piece that feels less like furniture and more like a permanent fixture of a modern sanctuary.
